When a computer crashes, any license that has been registered to the computer is lost. For this reason, you will need another license to be able to view files on the computer again.

To request another license for your computer, fill out the Network License Request Form. In the box that asks a reason for your request, be sure to explain your situation and include the fact that your computer crashed. This way License Administration can more closely review your history to see if the $5 application processing fee can be waived for your case.

Please allow 1-2 business days for your license request to be reviewed. You will receive an email from License Administration once this has been completed. After you receive that email, return to the Download Center, skip to Step 3: License Registration, and register your license again. Once you receive a successful registration message, you should be able to view your files once more.
